he does everything for a reason, it performs and doesnt break !

thank you for using a great sponsor !

yep...he tuned my stock Mach1 with a procharger to 454rwhp (10lbs)and i beat the living crap out of it. Which is WHY it has stayed together. Lid's put a very SAFE tune on it and I cant complain at all!!!!!!

He installed my 4.10 and tuned my Mach 1 about 3 weeks ago. Very nice guy and he tunes everything to last, not to get every last hp out of it.

thanks guys.
i was beatin the shit out of the car all day today. never skipped a beat. and the temps were 160 deg the whole time. it likes boost, and only continues to run better the more i beat on it haha. love this car.

nice car you took it to the right place for a tune cause lid is the man when it comes to tuning a fi mustang!

you can find cheaper....but it might not make it off the dyno.....

well I meant a reputable tuner lol. I've gotten price quotes from them all. There was one in particular that was outragous. 1000 bucks is wayyy too much to tune a foxbody with a stock computer and a few boltons

Just wanted to note - my comment earlier wasn't to knock anyone in particular. I just thought it was odd that the net result for this particular vehicle was to tune around what seemed like a mechanical deficiency. As someone else pointed out, why not turn the boost down using a different spring and bring the tune in line with the new, appropriate setup? Too much fuel doesn't automatically = safe....it can do damage too.

IMO $600 for being in and out within 2 hours is outrageously expensive, but i dont have a choice. so i guess its worth it.
i didnt know it was a set rate for a tune. If i knew that i would have made them do everything. also would have taken the WG spring out and put in the 7 psi one. i made sure everything was perfect beforehand to compact time, but it didn't make a difference.
