Totally stock motor, 9psi out of a MPT70, made 420rwhp. 10.6AFR, only 18deg timing. room for much more, but the stock block can't handle it.

yep. lookin at the graph, its below 11 from 4k all the way up. lidio wanted it like that because less fuel would make over 500 at the crank, which the block can't handle.

Less timing would net the same effect, wouldn't you think? I don't mean to question a great sponsor to the site who makes a decent living doing what he does. But, this seems a little off to me. Then again...what do I know?

Nice setup btw... :)

thanks! yeah youre right, but the timing was already really pulled back. prob would have been better to change the WG spring for a 6 or 7 psi and get everything I could out of it. probably could have made the same power.

Yeah I would turn the boost down, and go a little more aegrssive on A/F and timing.....same power, less wear and tear on the motor, no??

Heres one of the graphs. Hard to see but AFR is below 11 above 3800rpm. also boost started to creep up to 10 close to 5000rpm

On3 kit eh. Im doing a build with the same one right now. I spoke to him recently and he told me he would tune a stock block turbo car to 500 maybe a little more without hesitation as long as the fuel system is upto par. Maybe its because your running stock heads/gaskets/bolts

maybe. I can't right now because my limitations are the factory head bolts, valve springs, etc... plus I'd like it to last a little while :) I do have the proper fuel system though.

I love the on3 kit BTW. Everything went absolutely perfect, fits perfect, looks great, and cheap. not to mention over doubled the factory hp.

Oh and just curious, what are you running for exhaust?
