I took my buddies ZR1 out tonight for a 40 mile romp around. It was probably the hardest 40 miles of the 1200 that the car has had! All I can say is what an amazing machine. That car has the civility of any other Corvette on the road below 3K........after that HOLD on. This thing is a torque monster! Shifting out of second at 6500 you are over 85 MPH and it feels like the front end lifts off, 70 to 130 in 3rd in what feels like 5 seconds, not really sure because I had to watch the road.

All I can say is thank God for traction control because there would be quite a few less of these on the road with out it. :peelout:

is it a gray one with a state license plate on it?

I saw it this past weekend if so, looked damn goooodd

im jealous, i really wanna drive one.....My mother in law had a chance to drive one and TURNED IT DOWN!!.......i couldnt believe it, she is like..."yea my frined told me i could drive his fancy corvette, but i said no"....

Oh well glad you had fun with it.

It was very cool. The car gets A LOT of looks. I'm sure when it gets warmer we'll roll it down Woodward more often. I'm going to try and get him to bring it to a MM track day as well. This is the first fast car he's owned so he would probably be a little intimidated at the track. I may have to handle that for him him!

If you happen to be busy and he needs a driver I guess I could help out and drive for him!!!!
