Tom Halley, GrandmaLS, passed away last night

Went to the wake on Sun and funeral on Mon. It was tough as he was so young. I only hope his wife gets through this tough emotional time.

Cool part was they let us line up a bunch of f-bodies and do burnouts in the driveway in front of the funeral home in honor of Tom. :burnout:  I know he was smiling from above.

What a way to send him off. Hard to keep a dry eye during that I bet.

I've seen his name around the F-body community for years. Can't recall talking directly with him but I'm sure I have somewhere along the line over the last 8 years. RIP, Tom. My brother has asthma and is always forgetting his inhaler, seeing stuff like this is scary.

Lining up in front of the home definitely was what he would have wanted! They continued through the rest of the day, and some of us may need new tires now!

Dude always did what he could to help anyone around, and always tried to put a smile on everyone's face. We're going to miss him, and are thankful for everyone who came by!

Hold it wide open, bud!

it was nice to see such a large turnout at his funeral. The director even told me "it's not that often you see such a large turnout he must've been well loved" that's an understatement.

Thanks for the vid! I'm glad someone got it. Thought I saw a few camera's.

I agree. And learned that car guys may not always show emotion, but it is evident in how hard they drive. I was a bit lead footed for a few days there. Just to make noise, etc.

Yeah it was packed. Great to see so many and be able to show his family the support. Sorry I couldn't make the luncheon. Had to get my car home before the rain hit. My wipers are still not functioning.

Sorry to bump an old thread as I was wondering what happened to Tom today. Did a search and this WTF...... Had no clue as this time in my life I was working 12-14 hour days, 7 days a week and never got on MM. Met him quite a few times...

R.I.P. Tom, sorry I missed this...

What the hell else did I miss from Dec 2011 - Dec 2013 Dang...
