Today's update

That's the way it works.

So the stock 3800 blower is gutted? or ported? Added a turbo setup instead or with? Like the hellraiser kit for the mod motors?

Im just curious of the set up seems interesting, and since larry can never type a full sentance im not quite sure i understand.

Remember we have a race still . :)

So you gutted a perfectly good M90 supercharger? Why not just put a regular intake on it and sell the S/C? I'm curious why this system depends on keeping the supercharger shell. Oh, by the way, your engine is turned the wrong way...

What kind of car?

Peep the sig. :)

X2

Looks interesting. Can you give us the low down on it?

It's going to be fast. Can't divulge too much info...Larry has spies everywhere.

Looks like a grand prix/monte carlo/impala of some sort...

:)

Right on both questions. M90 W-bodies are extremely difficult to get into the elevens, let alone have high horsepower numbers. It would cost a ball load more and in most cases would require massive head work, sick cam, etc.

Here, the empty M90 housing acts as an upper intake plenum, note the blockoff plate sans the snout. I'm not particularly sure why the housing is retained, but it could be an easier solution than just swapping out. There is also an intercooler that 'plugs in' to where the snout used to be, but since I have a front mount air-to-air, I just have the block-off plate.

The turbo comes with its own powerlog manifolds and crossover pipe (over the transmission) where the airbox used to be. In addition, I have a 3" exhaust and downpipe, no cat or resonator, and with an exhaust cutout that I control with a switch on my console.

I will bring it out and show you guys to a meet soon.

Who's turbo kit?

Go ahead. Im shure 99% of the people on here will back me up that Alternative is a great shop. Ill bet theres not a 2x4, hammer, or crowbar laying on my car.

Update for today:
