Today's Catch

Well you fed him and he now has a nice screened home. I wouldnt leave! Haha my grass is finally grown in where a skunk excavated my front lawn.

Well thats good! We have a ground hog problem at my house they have a burrow a little to close to the in ground pool so we always have a live trap going i am lucky i haven't caught a skunk i would probably end up shooting it.

They will spray from the first time you shoot them until they finally pass non-stop, which with a .22 carbine takes over ten rounds... Not a fun day in my life but had to be done.

Holy shit! I am not looking forward to that day its strange there are skunks all over the area but still have not caught any i must have the trap bated right
 
I've heard that if you cover the trap with a blanket or something of the sort, that they won't spray. That way you could move the trap (Bed of your truck and take him out in the country somewhere) without them spraying like crazy. Just what I've heard, never tried it myself.

Yeah I covered it with a blanket and opened the door. Wasn't gonna risk moving it though.
