So you are saying I have crappy banner and the ones I did for Alternative are crappy?

BTW I don't like the Alternative one with the #. The # looks terrible. I don't have a full version of PS so I couldn't get the # looking good. If you want to monkey with it let me know.

BTW can you make GIF banners? I'd like to make one for the dealership.

not at all man! just said if anyone thinks they have a crappy banner or want something better.

something like this, i just redid the cars one:
collinsauto.jpg

i also made the richards auto logo and banner that you always see.

i can take a shot at it no prob if you want to send me the psd file.

yes i can make gif banners too :)

If you could clean up the # on Alternatives one banner that would be cool.

BTW does Sean want that one up? If so let me know and I'll get it done.

:D glad you like it.

as for pointers, i learned a lot from trying a bunch of different tutorials out there. a good tip for cutting out things is to use the pen tool, the BEST tool for getting the best edge. plus it makes it easy to get the shape perfect. Also edit the image with a high resolution file, then after done editing scale it down. get very familiar with layers, blending, layer effects, opacity, etc. Another good section is the brightness/contracts levels, hue/saturation, and color balance.
 
Please fix the Reiter Metalcraft banner, that thing looks terrible. Those guys hooked us up bigtime with the Pinks car, and we put up that ugly ass banner......

btw your banner takes FOREVER to show up at the top, i had to refresh like 100 times.

also, your domain name expired on you, 12/3/07, hope you can get it back...
