tips/ tricks needed for sealing a pinion flange

holy crap and I glad I got under the car!

somehow I never noticed that my new trans (tremec) sits WAY lower than the stock T-5 did. I had to shim my trans mount 1/2" to get the pinion angles correct. No wonder why I was suffering from hell of an oversteer problem.

so FYI to all, make sure to check the pinion angle when switching to or from a tremec.

wow, its like I have a completely different car!

I just took it for a ride and cannot believe the difference setting the pinion angle correctly makes. it hooks like crazy now!

in addition to that I centered the rear with the panhard bar so the wheels are perfectly 5/16" in from the rear fenders on both sides now and its completely gotten rid of my drivers side tire rubbing problem. I used the stock measurements when i setup my panhard bar but they werent completely centered, its just what maximum motorsports instructions said to do.

seriously this feels like a new car, i just burned through a 1/4 tank of gas in about an hour~! haha whole shots are fun as hell now with the torque arm properly adjusted!
