I had to change out the race mufflers for these stainless oil cans to quiet it down some and wanted to run the 3" tail pipes while I was at it. The pipes are connected with releasable connections to the mufflers so I can take the pipes off when I want to. There was no room to go over the axle due to the anti-rollbar and bracing, so I went under. There is plenty of room for the chassis to squat. So my question is this. How should I end the tailpipes? Tip them down after the rear tire so just a smidge of the pipe is visable, or run them back closer to the bumper and turn them down? I know Flowmaster makes the 3" tailpipes, but I wanted to set it apart from the crowd a little. Any suggestions?
