Time For Paint...

Some pictures from last nights progress. I have the right rear quarter all finished and ready for prime and block. I sprayed it with some sandable primer I had left over, but it needs to be done in light gray and blocked a few times.

I also fabricated a bracket set for the rear facia to give it some rigidity and prevent it from sagging. It has no inners, so it was basically a noodle. To the average person who pushes on it now, they would never know it has no inner beam.

Damn looks great!

It has to be a high build, sandable primer. LIGHT GRAY!
High build sandable primers come in many forms, acrylic,lacquer,enamel,epoxy,urethane....take your pick, just make sure there is compatability with the topcoat and whatever spray can stuff you have underneath. My only concern would be all the spray can primer underneath, not trying to tell you guys what to do but the paint job is only as good as the foundation. I would hate to see you guys have problems or a sheet of paint come off going down the 1320 ;)

It will be fine. There has not been anything used to degradate the final finish. This is not my first go at this.

That was just for a few spots. Gonna pick up some primer soon. Going to call Automotive Color today.
I understand that and I'm not trying to be a dick or step on anyones toes but I've painted a few BMX bikes in my days and I'm aware of stuff that can come back to haunt you, I was just trying to help but I'm clearly out of my league sorry. It's obviously under control and I wish you luck, I'm sure the car will look great when it's done!!!!

And for the record I edited/deleted my previous post/quote because it wasn't worth the arguement in the rattle can debate
