If you don't mind me asking what did you have done and what did they charge you? I'm thinking my rear end won't hold up through the summer.

installed spool/set-up gear, tumbled rear end, welded tubes, and jig straightened...

$245 bucks

Rieder want 225 just to do the gear and he said 4 to 5 weeks turn around. I dropped mine off Tuesday afternoon at dts and it was done Friday around 2 pm

The Ionia, MI shop is great to deal with, very nice work coming out of that facility (Adam is a great guy). The Warren facility however, leaves much to be desired (Too many douche-bags under one roof).

They built my first rear-end at the Warren facility. They gave me a great deal too, but I got exactly what I paid for, not what I asked for. For a "drag" application, they used steet-type axles, tapered axle bearings (leaky bastards), the brand of gear I told them to NOT use, set up the lash too damn loose (.012"), and used a crush washer instead of a solid spacer. So what did the money saved get me.....A ring gear with over half of the teeth broken off, axle tubes that were bent to hell, and the wonderful opportunity to spend that money all over again. Fortunately, once I gave the mess to Adam at their Ionia shop, he was able to make good on the Warren shop's F'up and get me set up with the right shit.

Good stuff. The Ionia guys understand the abuse we are going to be puting on this stuff, so they build it accordingly. The Warren douches are out to tell you what you want to hear (cheap), and make a quick buck. They should stick to puting gears in daily drivers that never see a track. The guys in Ionia are like a comletely separate company especially when it comes to helping the customer. Hell, they had mine done exactly when they said it would be, ready to bolt in the car. The Warren idiots were 7 weeks late on the completion date the first time, and then it took them 2.5 weeks to do a damn 4.10 to 4.88 swap. After that crap I decided I wouldn't take anything there again.
