Throwback Mopar build

I'm surprised your Polara didn't sell quicker....It looked like a pretty clean car.

Is your crossram for a standard 440 port, or max-wedge?
I'm surprised it took so long too.

The intake was a standard port. I put the whole setup on CL yesterday and it sold in a few hours. Sorry.

No pics to post yet....Once it gets some tubing bent up and welded in, I'll be all over some progress shots. It's warm and cozy, awaiting it's turn right now.

Well...more parts gathered this weekend. My buddy and I went to the Indy swap meet. S/S seats are picked up, and I grabbed an AMD floor pan while I was there. Being a 330, it has the usual soft floor associated with the moisture holding rubber floor mat poverty cars. With the old floor cut out, piecing the new one in around the frame ties should be easier, and look better anyway. While we were there, I also met Gary Ball, the S/S interior guru to discuss purchasing the rest of the interior.

Cool, we saw a few nice Mopars at Autorama that reminded me of this build. Good to see more parts are now in stock at Hangemhigh Racing.

Sweet ride.
Any idea on color yet? Im thinking a medium gray would look great with the red interior.

Right now I'm favoring white.....possibly adding a retro-type stripe, of some sort.

By the time it's ready to paint though, that could easily change.....several times...
