thoughts on this Ebay Turbo Kit. On3?

Most people that bash them have never even seen one. Two of my friends and I are extremely happy with ours for the price and would definitely purchase another one. No they are not the quality of a $5k kit! But great bang for the buck. My stock block 306 street car made 537hp/596tq at 12psi on the chassis dyno. I've heard lots of customer service horror stories but my personal experience with them was good

x2

My experience was positive also.

It will be 3 years this spring since I've had an On3 kit on my car, only problem I had was with the flex joint on the crossover swelling. They have since started using better flexes, or so im told.

I ordered my on3 kit from ebay too. Only problem with my kit was the bolt pattern for the headers was off slightly but i just opened up the holes slightly and they worked great! I would deff suggest for anyone building a nice street/strip setup to order this kit its awesome especially for the price

My buddy has an on3 kit on his hatchback and he likes it.. He said the on3 customer service was lacking because it is a 1-2 man operation. They supposedly don't sell on3 at jegs anymore.

I was gonna go this route as well, but started to read some stories over at Corral, and got to thinking it wasnt worth the risk to me. For the cost of this kit, you can just go grab a used S-trim, which is what I did. It wasnt worth the risk to me. An s-trim has been a reliable and proven power maker.

go over to Corral or google On3 and read for yourself.

I bought Dave's white mustang with the on3 kit and did a lot of research on them. They had some quality issues when they first rolled out the kits but have taken the reviews and made changes to improve their product. I don't think you can go wrong for the price

I've seen just as many problems with Vortech's. Not to mention, you cant make the power as easily especially with a stock block. IMO there isnt much if any risk. As soon as you bolt on a blower or any power adder to a stock block car you are playing with fire. If you want safe, and no risk's then keep it factory.

Belts suck, turbo's are cool. End of story.

Its not the block that's the problem....I've read hundreds of posts at corral and made my own decision. I wouldn't give On3 a dime...
