I credit Xceedspeed for the majority of my good friends, almost all of my social gatherings, influences on car modifications, where I get my shit fixed when things get FUBAR and I can't do it in my back yard, and endless amounts of actual USEFUL car knowledge. The site is NOT just a bunch of shit talking kids.

I'm a CAR guy. I love cars whether they're foreign or domestic. I've had them all. In my back yard now, sits a 356whp Honduh that hits 120mph trap speeds in an embarrassing 13 second pass. I've also owned a 413whp TBSS that I WILL be getting back.

I can admit that Xceedspeed has gone down hill in the past year or so. Its sad because there ARE some really awesome people over there and you can STILL get great knowledge from certain threads. I used to get along with majority of the site but lately I don't even like reading anything due to frustration with majority of the current members.

Again, im sure there are some good people over there, (mxracercam, that fag.) But the majority...not so much, when I first joined that site, I was going to go to a meet at Applebee’s, after reading the thread about the past meet, kids yelling in Applebee’s, causing a scene and being really disrespectful to the waitress, other families with there kids there. I decided not to go to any meets there. Seemed more like a daycare than a car meet.

i used to post on xceed alot but not too much anymore.. alot of retards but most of the original people there from years ago are cool
 
I enjoy reading about how many cars I'll be faster than when I get out of college.

EDIT: oh wait, my DD is faster than a bunch already. DOH.
 
a very select few guys guys who know and understand what it takes to build some pretty fast 4cyl cars... the other 98 percent are kids who are obviously rolling on mommy and daddys paycheck.... when you see a 16 yr old kid driving a 05 evo mr that retails for about 36k with, 2k in wheels and jdm as fuck stickers on it you tend to loose respect for a crowd like that.

you have a few guys from project aspec, who in my mind are all pretty good guys most have alot of driving talent.

way to many people who think that anything mitusbishi is a performance car

an astronomical number of bolt on beautys that can barly push a 12.5...

did i mention kids with no respect?

and heaven forbid if you own a supra you are a god in there eyes, 2jz that 7mge this... skylines 2, fanboy galore.

Which is a HUGE thing. It's strange...it just seems like everything's a contest...everyone's trying to be the fastest or the "most JDM" or whatever. It's much more laid back/friendly here, which is why I'm here everyday, and never post there anymore.
