so i saw a sticker for exceed speed today so i checked it out and signed up, well now i feel like thats 30 mins of my life wasted that ill never get back has any one else been on there and what did u think? i think motown is pretty cool and theres always some one online just to shoot the shit with ya know +1 for motownmuscle :specool:

and the cars with a lot of mods still run 13's.
 
It is a different much younger crowd
Immaturity runs rampant, so I pretty much stay away
Though there are some good people over there....
 
There are a lot I repeat a lot of "children" over there. Also there are a handfull of legitimately smart worthwhile guys there too. It seems like that handfull of guys is here too, maybe theres a reason?/
 
I am on both. I am good friends with a few people from xceed. You have to weed out the bullshit, just like with every other site.
 
Dont waste ur time over there, mostly emo fuckers driving ricers, there are a few good people over there.

Most of the time when i get board at work, i check all my forums, xceed is a last resort considering 80% of the threads is junk for sale and "ZmoG Whore Thread WooT"

they are the kids that are amazed and overjoyed when a barely modded civic beats a stock whatever. thinking its the fasted thing on 4 wheels. then dont even look for a sec when a prostreet car comes into the lot...

Xceed seems to be the Silly Putty of the local forums...when you first get it, it's neat and fun to play around with...but after a day or so you stick it in a drawer or throw it away, unless you're 5 years old or need to wear a helmet when you go outside.

Local people passionate about cars. That makes them okay in my book.

My first car fit in more with that crowd then it would of over here.
 
I think you can tell the biggest difference just by looking at the drag racing section over there. There are some knowledgable peeps on there, and some unique rides, but mostly shit talkers and posers. Turbo cars that make one fast past a year are gods over there, but kind of a joke here with the mm crowd.

Do I smell a MM/xceed track day rental in the near future???:icon_wink
