I paid 299 for my iPhone 6. Now that they got rid of the 2 yr contracts they're raping us with no Vaseline. Lol
 
They were still raping you. That's why the early termination fee gets progressively less the older your contract gets, it's essentially the unpaid balance on the phone. iPhones have always been $600+, you just never saw the full cost because the remainder of it was tied into your monthly bill.

I called att. My monthly bill will actually go up based on their new 24 mo payment plan. Something like 40/month extra. But If I pay for phone upfront then I'll continue to pay what I'm paying now. Makes no sense.
 
Ouch. If you're not on a family plan, buy your phone outright and get their $45/month prepaid plan.
