This looks like a good buy for somebody.

dont doubt these big numbers so easily.

I know for a fact that I had about 47-48 totalled up at one point. yes, including the price of the car, but I also have a shortblock, heads, cam, motormounts, new injectors, and a few other things sitting in a polebarn ready to go in this winter.

I still will need a better fuel system, maybe another clutch, gaskets, meth inj + controller, portwork on the heads, and tuning. at the minimum. this stuff adds up to another 7500+

then add in a built automatic, converter, and drag rims/tires = 4K ish. that puts me at 60K, not including paint work, or a cage. lol.

shit adds up fast.

My question is, does it really matter whether or not he really spent the $85K? The import question is, is it really worth the $25K he is asking? If you take everything else in the ad at face value I'd say yes! Of course, I'd never spend that kind of money without going and checking the damn thing out in person. Buying something that expensive on someones word is just crazy.

I agree completely. My point was that if those numbers are "stretched" what else could/would a seller who lies about dollars invested, lie about? That's all.

I'd guess closer to 60k, but you never know....if you're someone who doesn't do any smart shopping, you can easily spend a LOT of money on a car like that. If you've never done it, you don't realize how things can add up. Especially if you count the parts you break, then replace. Also, stupid things like AN fittings. I swear it seems like I have $2k in AN fittings on my car.
