Not a bad movie. My ex-fiancee's little sister looked EXACTLY like the little brunette in that movie. (same girl that's in the show LasVegas) She was 15 years old when I broke it off with my ex. So she was always "hand-off." :lol: :roll: One thing is for damn sure, you'd NEVER guess she was 15! :eek:

How about mine even in a sea of Corvettes my Z06 stands out and it will embarrass almost any car on a road course and run 11s in stock form.

Did you lower it yourself, did you install the Nitrous yourself, did you install all the Audio your self or did your buddy hook you up, Did you ever change the plugs or install headers on it, what?

As far as with mine, you couldnt be more wrong. I (with my own moolah) bought it off a friends dad who owned it and it sat in his heated pole barn for 12 years Hardly ran), Trans was shot (burned it up on the way home from picking it up as I could not keep fluid in it (was gonna rebuild anyway - TH400) took out and installed myself on my back, BBC 396 Motor leaked out of every place possible (complete rebuild with my dad plus alot of goodies), all brakes were drums and all leaked like a sive (had to use parking brake to stop), I did a complete and correct power disc brake conversion myself, I had entire enterior out to detail, myself (stll all as I bought it though), I replaced all suspension with all new bushings, sway bars, shocks springs, etc...myself I had the rear 308 gear out, but had friend reinstall true .375 posi (me helping) The list goes on and on...and on-

Only thing I have not touched is PAINT - It is not perfect, but for an Enamel paint from 1979, it looks pretty friggin awesome! I will be the first to say I have no clue about body work! I have a lot of time and money put into it and still could sell it for twice what that Cobra sold for, and nobody contributed a cent towards it but me (other than help with giving their time- mostly dad).

When home I should post some engine build up pics and what it looked like when I brought it home under the hood...

As for Mustangs, I build up a kick-ass '95 Cobra for the track a few years back. Car didn't handle and ended up in the wall at Mid-Ohio:dontknow:

So I bought a 'vette and now I'm fast...Scaryfast...

Lowered it myself = Yes (1st time was Eibach springs *which I had a shop do* the second time was coilovers, and I did those) Sure a friend or two may have helped a bit and kept me company, but I turn my own wrenches, pumpkin.
Nitrous kit instal = I did half, and Paulie did the other half...due to him being bored and out of work and me working 2 jobs and being too busy.
Sound system = was installed me and my buddy Chris.
Custom Rear seat delete kit = me and my buddy Chris.
Spoiler relocation = me, and my friends helped with lining it up while I marked it off, drilled the holes, etc.
Brakes = ME
Cat-Back = Me
2 different x-pipe = ME
MIL eliminators = ME
Plugs = ME
Headers = Were on there when I bought the car
IRS - Solid axle swap = Me, in Scott's garage. He helped too. But I did most of the grunt work!
The list goes on a ways from there.

MOST of the shit done to that car (even though nothing was major) was done by me.

A guy at work coaches T-ball now. They only play four innings, and in every inning every kid gets to bat. The adults don't keep score, but it turns out the kids still do.

When I played T-ball, it was 7 innings with all the same rules except for stealing and leading off. How times change.

come on guys, dont start another 100000 page yelling thread. al's car was good for being flashy and modern ,cruising gratiot and what not. your chevelle is bad ass, and the roots for todays modern cars. cars like yours ruled woodward in their day and are worth big $$$ both to collectors and plain gear heads. their both good cars. though i'd lean twards yours anyday, and i am a old school chevy guy.

(I could care less about what he or anyone else says about my car as it speaks for it self and opinions vary and that is a good thing)
