69 z28's selling for 70-80k that seemed low to me. Seems like it is down this year.


I'd dig me a 71 mach1, uncle had one with a Cleveland and a 4 speed. Worked at ford for 47 years. Yea. Long time. Watched it down the line in Dearborn. I'd want it for the memories. My cousin still has it. And his dads 69 Shelby
 
Lot of those cars you see on tv look great but when up close in person you can start picking them apart, had friends at the auction a lot of those 69 Z-28s had issues like reproduction trim tags, non matching drivetrains, no paper work, and etc the Orange Z28 was probably the best there and sold for $125k ish, and remember those prices you see on tv have to add a buyers fee I think 10%

Agree. I went in 2006 and couldn't believe how rough some of the cars were in person and the money they brought.
