This dog needs a home by friday night

Nope, Justin is doing the right thing by thinking it over. It is a 10-15 year commitment for sure

Bahhh, it's a commitment but it's not that bad. Even with a two year old and a 7 month old, time fly's with pets

i believe that is wrong. a friend of mine is a big part of that and i was told different. i have been to thier fundraisers and that is not what i have heard. :headscrat i would try them for sure

I'd try too. I was just going off of what I heard.

Some people jump right into getting a dog or other pet and they don't realize what it takes to own one. However, people that know what is involved and are responsible are good candidates...such as Justin. Just takes a little persuasion sometimes:poke:

I'd take the dog in, but I have two cats and they would tear him up :D.

Justin, bring the dog home. You won't know how you went so long without a pet. They truely do become your best friend. And unless you get some girl in Vegas completely drunk and drive her to the Elvis chapel, odds are you'll get no other love anyway...Go get the dog.

That, and he could "test drive" him if he needs gone now. Let me know if you do Justin, I'll hook you up with a dog tag:D

I contacted the shelter we got Woodson from about a neighbor's dog a couple weeks ago, and they didn't have any homes available. Woodson is recovering from surgery, so we can't take him.....

wheres he located at? Is he an indoor or outdoor dog? I could use a good pup to hang out with since my parents stole mine to play with theirs all day. Id like to come see him and see how he likes me

If this is true it is a welcome change :D

It's true and a VERY welcome change!

Most of the members there seem to be perfect and never make mistakes...

I'm a member there and I'm perfect  Actually there have been a lot of threads about why people say things the way they do there. I think it comes down to a couple of things.....It's the internet and forums are that way....and members who have been there a long time get sick of hearing the same crap over and over when people are irresponsible and/or didn't take advice given.

It is a great forum with a ton of good info. You just have to pick through crap sometimes :D

It's hard to believe I've had my dog 5 years now and I can't think of not having her around.

Good luck on your decision.

I hope I out live you so I can piss on your grave one day, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. :thefinger

this dog needs a home by friday night or it will have to be put down... he belongs to a friends cousin and they cannot have him where they are moving... they have already tried all of the local rescues and the pounds have told them that they will put him down because he is a pitbull... i am told that he was raised with children from a pup and that they took him frequently to the dog parks and has never been aggressive towards any of the other dogs at all... he is four years old... if any of you can help send me an email at [email protected] or pm me

my brother is interested. email sent

Thrilled with all of the support on the forum!

the more I look at him, he looks like an american bulldog to me. very cute!

i just talked to her and she left that group and moved on to another one that is better and they 100% foster homes, no shelters. they may have changed since she left, who knows. i very well could be wrong, might have been right at one point but wrong now. lol

I agree, it is the internet. It is just difficult to hear a site dedicated to such a thing is so willing to turn their backs on the animals and save the owner judgement until later.

Just like most forums, there is the good and the bad :D

anybody going to step up for him. like i said i will take him temporarly but by no means can it be permanant due to the fact i already have one.

I am not able to. I already have two females, one pitbull. I have a 3 and 2 year old as well, no place to take on a strange pitbull unfortunately.

I am still trying to spread the word.

I sent my brother their contact info. He was going to call and try to set up a meet after work today between his dog and theirs. If they get along, I think he's going to take him.

Looks like they moved yours and removed mine. They would rather judge the current owners and have the dog be put down apparently...

the people over there are astonishing... they are still defending that retard and one even said to put him down because it would be better for him

bunch of PITA supporting bitches
