third brake light on a fox body

Just bought a spoiler with a third brake light but my other spoiler didn't have it. Did fords run the wiring back there and just leave it? Its an 85 gt thanks in advance

86 was the first year for the third brake light

not in 85, didnt have the center brake light till later in the 80's

easy enough to wire up though
