They are cracking down on street racing

so they do a story on the news to let the street racers know that there are cops in those cars, and not to race them, or race around them! :bigthumb: :shake:

thats so fucking stupid! lmao

i am not saying street racing is right, but taking someone's car for it???? damn thats harsh. Can they start taking cars from people talking on their cell phones?? cause i see people almost cause crashes every single day because they have a fucking phone glued to their ear!!!!!

seriously. I'd say a good majority of street racers are good drivers while we have so many asshats on the road fucking it up for everyone else.

Is it stupid? I say it's a good way to make people think twice. Undercover isn't the best way to deter crime.

if i knew they were going to do that to my car i wouldnt stop... till i lost'em or wrecked but they ant stealin my shit.

NY, NJ, CT have all had dedicated drag race patrols for a couple of years, they used impounded drug dealer cars to infiltrate the local meets, and when cars went to race, so did the cops. Your car was impounded, and it cost a fortune to get it and you out of jail. Thankfully the ricers got most of the attention though... There was even talk of them trying to make streetracing "attempted vehicular manslaughter", that was after a nasty acident in NYC. Thankfully it didn't get past the discusion stage, but it gives you an idea on how serious they were/are about getting their hands in your pockets, since, as we all know, it is the revenue they're after.

The keeping your car is new though. Guess it must be legal, theyre doing it.
