These guys need to be shot,

If I am not mistaken many Z0^'s had to have new tops put on, they flew off on the expressway. I guess he had to rip it off or it would have caused more damage. At least it wasn't raining.

Yea did you see those lambo's and I think the one was a ferrari go flying past them. Why didnt they just go flying past them instead of being gay and ripping the top off. I would be pissed, but thats what warranties are for. :ohwell:

pretty shitty that the ROOF is GLUED ON!

Well, it's fiberglass. Can't weld fiberglass and I don't think screws would look too cool.

GM recalled some C6 'vettes because there was some occurrences of the roofs flying off the cars at speed. They got on the supplier and the problem was fixed.

pretty funny you dump that much coin and it comes off that easy. That's why I'll stick to t-tops. Although I have heard of them flying off too

i have to assume the fenders aren't glued on. nor the hood. so why is the roof? it wasn't in c5 vettes.

Probablly to shave the few extra pounds/ounces adhesive is the lightest way to attach a panel

glue=cheaper than bolts

all part of GMs big plan to lower there overhead and increase profits. if you look at the heads on the new ls7, they are glued on as well :)

I'll take it roof or no roof.
It's better then the suspension problems that the Ford GT's had.

That suspension problem was a fluke... It turned out a dealership jacked up the car on the controll arm and cracked the control... Ford freaked out because they weren't sure at the time... The company at the time said here we will do some R&D on these cast alum control arms some more... Meanwhile take these Billet ones... Ford helped them out with that... in 06 the last year of the Ford GT... All of them went back to the cast alum control arm... Even close to the end of 05 Ford GT's had cast control arm's put on...
