The work truck is still running...

Just hit 33k.

I wasn't there, but it was out on Woodward the other night. Lightning has ported heads, pulley, tune, catback, DRs...not sure what else. Ram has a catback and tune. Dig was worthless considering the tire difference. Sound up, if only for the commentary...

What's up with them not being able to crack the 2011 code

They keep trying to make the controllers harder to tamper with, so it takes longer for the hackers....er, tuners, to get in. Realistically, even the tunes for the '09s weren't any good until recently.

Heads aren't ported, but the blower is... Shocked at how quick that truck is.

And the dig race wasn't worthless, it made me feel a lot better!

And I have this feeling that by the time I get decent tires you're gonna be a whole lot quicker!

I should say it's in the low-mid 13 range if the thing could hook, but that's not gonna happen until I get new tires. I'd really like to get a wheel/tire set that performs a little better and is lighter, just not in the card$ right now. Even the new R/T 22s are 2lbs lighter per wheel than my 20s.

Raced a short-box hemi with exhaust from 40, took a second to come around. I am not a mopar at all, but damn.. I'll own one of those!!

I couldn't be happier with it.

They are really weird to race though....more difficult that an auto should be

That clip from a dig, Kenny just left ESP on and left it in auto cuz the run before just blew off the tires. Leaving it in auto really slows the truck down. There's a gear Dodge threw in between 2nd and 3rd to close the gap, second prime. In auto it skips that gear...it's worth at least 2 tenths in the 1/4. It took me a while to get use to it...cuz if you put it in 1 and are WOT it'll shift into 2 on it's own, but not second prime. I'd always wait for that shift and when it delayed I'd shift it, then it would skip two gears. One of the reasons the 1/4 mile times are all over the map on these trucks.
