The Winter Project is Finally Done

I was thinking riced, unless its a 10 second car, then its got something to go with all that over the top show.

Maybe I should've put an 18" high wing, ground effects, NACA ducts and 22's on it and lowered it until the chassis drags........

No, a nice supercharger or turbo with a built engine, tranny, aftermarket EMS or tuned chip and other go fast goodies would be the way to go.:rockwoot:

Now its all show and no go.:naughty:

Are those Buick portholes in the side of the hood?

Put some power under that hood!

I've already done the C4 Blower thing. The motor is pretty stout.....Maybe not 10's but somewhere in the 11's is probably more like it. My L98 with the blower was probably on par with this car on all motor. The L98 with the Vortech B Trim did high 11's. ......

holy crap and I thought turbo's on a f-body where tight

Yeah, that looks like the install from hell......The battery obviously had to be moved inside, and the cruise control? Bungy corded to the windshield maybe? So much for the inner fender well. Just REALLY tight! ha ha!

A couple more under-hood shots...

We gave all of the engine data to a guy that tunes and does custom chips, he then burned a "best guess" chip. We did this a couple of times giving him feedback on rpms, and where it was rich or lean, until it's pretty good. We're taking it down to him (he's in Ohio) in a few weeks for a tune on the dyno.
We're only waiting because I'm doing a bunch of things to the C5 (ls6 intake, ported 243 heads, ported tb, lingenfelter cam, headers, etc) and we're planning on having both done at the same time.
