I recently picked up a 49cc single speed 2 stroke bike and will be testing there soon...

Would definitely be interesting to see if there is still pavement under the grass. Looking at my unedged sidewalk I could understand how grass when not maintainted for 30 years could grow over like that.

When you think about things like that it kind of makes you wonder what kind of crazy stuff past empires had that were just recliamed by the earth without a trace.

I would not be surprized if the actual concrete is burined under some sod...a simple scrape with a bobcat could dig up the strip.

YOu could have a race like the new olympic ski cross event...bmx bikes, moutain bike classes...

I could be convinced to bring my bobcat out for some escaviating, espically if it is buried and still there.

I think the event would be fun

We'll show you the new pictures in a bit - we completely removed all the dirt and grass covering the track with our Bobcat. There's now an apron at the top and bottom of the track all the way around, too. World of difference. Final landscape and track cement prep is Friday and cement day is Saturday, if anyone wants to lend a hand. We could really use the help.

dont facebook or twitter. shoot me a PM with some contact info...I also have a sweeper that might be useful in clearing stuff, its not for the bobcat so it might be able to go on the bank. So are you in the area? I used to ride mound from my house near 94 to warren....

well sorry Brad, the soap box course is gone. I can see where it was cut at the starting gate. Took my son and his mini moto bike...wanted to give him some seat time, get him excited to race.

took a very few pic, forgot the good camera at home...

YOu guys did an amazing clean up job...I can see how much work is left, so bump for ya! I need faster at WOT on the 49cc 2 stroke i could barley stay on the bank
I am going to test a bit-better bike and see if some more speed and a few gears help. I feel sorry for anyone who races with out checking it out first, the bank is steep!

I wanted to tape my son's expression when he saw the dome! He wants to bring his friends and thier dirt bikes...
