The Thunderdrome! 2013: September 21 and 22

Hey everyone:

I wanted to take a minute and invite you to this year's Thunderdrome! race at the once-abandoned Dorais Velodrome on Detroit's east side. It's a charity race to fix up the park and velodrome along with generating funds for Camp Casey, a horseback riding program for children with cancer.

You may have recently seen this short news piece that aired on Channel 7 last night about it that's pretty good: Link

Details are at www.thunderdrome.com and we'll be adding more information like schedule and free parking directions in a bit. We're also looking for racers and have a few spots open for mopeds, scooters, go-karts, bicycles and more.

Could someone explain which day the scooter event will be run. I read the through the rules but it refers to "the day of the race." Will that be on the the 21st, 22nd or both. Trying to figure out if this will work with my schedule.

You can run one or both days. We'll have a points-style system set up where you'll be advantaged to run both days but not required.

We'll have more up in a bit to clarify. Thanks!
