DO NOT mount it on the firewall. If it catches fire it's right next to your interior.

Talk to Bigg and get some tips from him. Look up his truck- pretty sure he has a thread in this section. His truck is clean as hell, lots of cool little features, and its now public knowledge that it runs mid 9's

tell me about the cage

well its a jegs 10 point cage.i didnt put the bars going out the back because i hate the way that looks.and i welded the halo in upside down if you look at it you can tell its got a bed in the back and if it were the right way you probably wouldnt see it but im a dumb ass and didnt notice it until i had the front bars weled.and i weled it with a mig welder but it looks like i did it with a tig.thats about it i painted the whole truck including the cage with spies hecker paint the cage is rallye matte black as well as the firewall and the rest is painted with blue black.

a couple pics of the rearend i have to paint it black still but its a currie 9" direct bolt in.with big bearings and chevy bolt pattern axles.

o yea i forgot about them! lol

i had them in my old 95 s-10 and did not need a relocate kit! but the convertor was not mine don't know who's that is? slideways just got the headers from me!

the headers were in really good shape but they are small if i remember right they werre 1-5/8?

i have had 4 s-10's in the past and i love them! you will have fun when it is all done!

slideways got the convertor from me. I never ran it though, it came with a trans that i bought.

the truck won't get by tech to run 9.50's without the rear bars in it.

yea the converter was setup for a mid plate too so it was to long i had to have mike ridings trim some of the mounting tabs down he said it was like 1.75 thousands to tall so slideways wouldnt have been able to use anyways unless he had it trimed.

yea i kinda figured that but i hate the way it looks if they say something then ill only go to the no et event then they dont check for that shit.

i got the haeders on now and the trans member made parts of the front end put back together and some other stuff.ill upload some pics later.

hey that rear end looks familiar, good luck with the build man, its shakin down to be a bad ass little truck!

yea thanks charlie.and thanks for the rearend i painted it black and ordered the brakes i just have to buy the currie center section now and i can put it in.income tax money i guess.
