The new DD

Thus should be interesting. And by interesting I mean the V6 Ford is going to destroy the baby V8 GMC.

You know, back to your point Ford really does have the best motors in the truck segment in my opinion. I'd love to have a V6 with a turbo in it that made almost 100 hp more than the 5.3 and get better gas milage. I think Fords drivetrains in general the past few years through all their vehicles are head and shoulders above GM and Dodge/Chrysler..... But the price tags refelct that.

When it comes to looks though, I don't think it's even close in the 1/2 ton tucks. The Super Dutys are badass though. Like I said I was looking all over for a nice, used Super Duty before I fell into this deal.

Went to Grand Haven this weekend, snapped a few pics.

Have you driven a new Hemi truck lately? 390HP. They get down! I have one on the way to replace my Jeep. Can't beat the price either. I think every big three truck is awesome right now. Best motor for 1/2 ton is probably the Ford ecoboost, but all of the V8's, including the Ford 5.0 and both Chevy ones, are really good.

Thanks, Raj.

I did drive a new Ram. I was actually planning on getting one of the Red Wings Edition ones until the GMC dealer gave me an even better price on this. The Ram did move out, the quad cab was huge, I couldnt believe how much room there was in the back seat, and the interior was much improved. I always thought the Ram's interiors were kind of Fisher-Pricey, but I was impressed with it on the new Ram. It was a nice rig.

Couldn't agree with you more about the eco boost. These trucks have the displacement on demand, which I didnt like at first. But cruising on the free way this weekend I found if I did 68-70 with the cruise on and on a flat road it would kick down to V4 and I actually got ok milage. 22/23 mpg. Of course it was hard to only do 70.

I just picked up a '13 Silverado.......coming from a guy that's owned Dodge Rams since 1998, this is the best truck I've ever driven.

I like the F-150's a lot but the Chevy rides like a dream.

Justin, what leveling kit did you pick up?

I'm a fan of both Ford and GM trucks. Both are badass. Both have pros and cons but I drive both. We have both for work and for personal. I love em all.
