The Milan thread

Worst part is the they refuse to respond. People have even posted on Milan's website and all they do is delete the posts.

Yup...that's the worst part. Cowardly. I propose that they be banned from this site, if they are members. Why should they profit from this board when they treat the people who support them like crap? I know Milan won't get $1 from me while they're still working there.

Remember this thread about them raising the prices and there were a few of us stating some facts about the dump and yet there were still those that come to the rescue of Milan while they are being given the bashing they deserve.

In fact I remember someone in that thread jumping in my shit saying "As far as people bitching about how they are treated,Act like a asshole get treated like one period..".

Yeah, ok. :jagoff: Those people are phucking crazy.....not "hot tempered", they just plain and simple need meds and professional help.

I am amazed no one has mentioned the rotten eggs and chicken feet that were thrown into a racers pit area by them last year....Sick phuckers.

I had no idea that place was so crappily run. They really do need some spotters down track to prevent things like this from ever happening. I was nearly involved in an incedent at a track in Nebraska that has since been closed that would have undoubtably been completely avoided by having some spotters down track. I never went back to that track, the owner even called me and offered me a free pass when he was able to track down my info after the incident. I told him I didn't want it becasue I wasn't ever running there again.

After reading about their treatment of the driver's WIFE, I am disgusted, and for sure will not spend any money on anything they are involved in. Regardless of whether the car had safety issues or not, there is nothing any of the officials or owners could say to justify treating the wife that way. :pissed:

I never seen you remotely upset before, till now...

Did you bump your head?

Milan is a paying sponsor here that helps make this car club and our track days possible. Didn't you hear the annoucement at our last track event about them continuing to sponsor us?.............. O that's right you weren't there.

It's simple, they are white trash pieces of shit and on an equal with that of prehistoric frog shit is where they will remain...That is how they roll. They have no class.

Wasn't aware that they were a sponsor. Still, though...they may funnel money into the car club, but if they're going to treat people like shit do you really want to be associated with them? I mean, I'm sure with a few phone calls we could get the KKK to sponsor the site, too...doesn't mean you have to accept the check.

LOL What would I run? My 18 second Focus? I do need to make it down to a club event sometime soon, though :)

My opinion.

Was Milan wrong? From the sounds of it, Yes. Keep in mind they have one duty and that's to make sure the racer is safe. Things I'm sure were crazy at the top end after the accident. Emotions were on overload<Racers family and Milan staff alike> which is normal. The way in which it was handled may not have been correct, but what's done is done. There is no going back and changing the past. They hopefully will learn from the mistakes made.

Now as for people not racing at Milan, I doubt it will effect car count much. Think about it, if you live within a 50 mile radius of Milan you aren't going anywhere else.

Are you really going to drive to Norwalk? Please!!!

How about US-131? Not likely.

And I'm talking about racers. Do you really think spectators are going that far to watch some racing? Yeah right!

I just hope the things that need to change, do.

The banner across the top of the page every so often is enough of a clue? Wow.

FYI this isn't just a site. IT'S A CAR CLUB. Maybe you'd know that if you came out to an event or track rental. :)

I say we give them thier money back. Put a public pole up for it. Its time to make a stand as a car club : " As paying members of the automotive community, we will NOT be treated with abuse and disrespect. The actions of the Milan staff affect the well being and fun of this car crafting hobby. Thousands of dollars are spent in the pursuit of a fun and freindly time. The ownership at milan seems to be directly at odds with that endevor. At this time we will fully promote a boycott of Milan and all events until these problems are delt with publicly. "
