When have you done anything? Gone fast? When? What are you good at? Aren't you the guy that builds a motor, runs a 10.9 motor pass and then grenades it on nitrous one pass later. I guess it makes sense that you want to run first pass of the trailer in that case! That's the only one you'll get before the next motor that you will talk up like it's going to reverse the rotation of the earth but then really go a second and likely more slower than a similar combo.Redlight no race, thats the only way I will race period. NO TEST PASSES EITHER. Unload and run, car dont hook get a better chassis.
2000 is steep, 1500 I might be able swing.

I think Panetta is getting a little ahead of himself for sure, but also it doesn't seem like these cars sit the same to me:

Now obviously there's no way to verify the 367cid, but still doesn't seem like those cars sit the same. I'm no genius, but why *wouldn't* the 15 degree motor on the slick be faster???

I will not speak for Vince but I'm assuming he'd want there to be a limit to the number of red-lights as in you fuck up once okay but second time = pay up time. And no backing out after a red-light or you pay up which means if you break something or just say you did and you red-lighted then you pay.Redlight no race means, someone lights the red, we go back and do it again, no need to lose a lot of money because ya jumped the gun. Its called smart racing, no easy wins. Put your money where your mouth is and lets do it.

I'm sure you can get the NHRA/IHRA to make a special rule for you so that if you red-light in any other race, you will be allowed to run again. I guess it's easy to talk tough when you can just make up stupid stipulations so that a race will not get off. When you grow a sack, let us know and come pull beside. Until then I guess you should practice driving because staging is not exactly rocket science.
Hopefully by Friday you can come up with a better plan to duck out of a race that your big mouth got yourself into.Why you guys so scared to take that race?
