any google search will say that the Big 10 is the toughest conference, or one of the toughest conferences this year. Though not a single one will say the Big 10 is having a down year. If anything, it's the opposite.

THis of course proves that Football isn't the only sport Swift doesn't have the slightest clue what he's talking about.

Ryan, the B1G may only get 6 teams in 'the Dance' and Purdue still may not make it. There are two truely horrible teams (Nebraska, Penn State). The 5th and 6th teams are 8-7 in league play. If a team has a losing record in league play, due they deserve a spot? If a team is 16-11 or 17-11 but is 6-9 and 5-10 in league play that good? Hell, Iowa is 14-13. I see a lot of NIT teams. This is a tough league? They've had better years.

This was the REBUILDING year. They have the #6 recruiting class in the country (like that means anything). Michigan has no inside game.

Depending on who you ask. Rivals has McGary as the #1 PF in the nation plus two other 4 stars. Not to mention MSU has a lot of seniors going bye bye.

5 seniors leaving. Two of them see no action. Brandon was a "one and done" after transfering from Butler. Green will be badly missed. Austin Thornton is just a bench guy. Green is the big loss. MSU's incoming class has 1 five star and 3 four star players. Three of those four will see a lot of time next year. Izzo recruits to his system. There will be no drop off. I'm more concerned about Indiana next year. Crean is Izzo jr.

Congradulations to the 2012 Big Ten Champion Michigan State Spartans!

You do realize that if you lose at OSU on Sunday and Michigan wins against Penn State, that Michigan is the Big Ten champs. right?

Trichampions with OSU and MSU. I still think MSU will beat OSU. All three teams would be 13-5. All three teams would be 1-1 against the other two. And if your aunt had balls, she'd be your uncle...

So what you're saying is you were wrong. Ok. Now that we have that clear (though no one really doubted that before).

Was wrong about what? MSU is a Big Ten Champion. Go to Breslin next November and watch the banner get raised. And you are hoping MSU loses. I've mentioned this before. Win the conference or the Tourney and so what? I want to see a Final Four and National Championship banner. Those are the ones that truely matter. Two weeks and the dance starts.

No, they aren't champs yet. They at best can be champs, at worst, share a 1/3 of a championship with OSU and UM.

Let me esplain to you can understand my little man...

South East Michigan can not be stand alone champions. If Michigan State beats Ohio State, MSU is the stand alone champion. If Ohio State wins, and South East Michigan loses, MSU and OSU are co champions and South East Michigan gets nothing. If South East Michigan and Ohio State both win, they are trichampions. This is the BEST South East Michigan can hope for. SEMI gets 1/3 or nothing at all.

What Swifturd doesn't understand is that we would still a Big Ten Champ. So the Big Ten title you won in 2010 for football doesn't count because that was a three way as well.

I never said that. Reread Ryan's post. He was saying the best South East Michigan would be Champs and at worst, Tri-Champions. This was wrong. By the way, 2010 was a two way tie in football.

Might as well have been...You were third place in the Big Ten that year...Wisky and OSU went to the BCS games :)
