The 2011-2012 Michigan B-Ball thread (no Fartans allowed)

I wish the forum would work again.

HAIL with a win over the 6th ranked team. THey looked good from the inside for once in the season! lol

Michigan has the easiest schedule with 4 chumps left. MSU has 2 chumps, Indiana and finishes with OSU. OSU has 2 chumps, Wisconsin and MSU. The tough game for MSU is Indiana at Assembly Hall. I think MSU wins all 4 and finishes 15-3 and Big Ten Champ. Still, it doesn't really matter and neither does the conference tournament. It's all about the group of 68... Right now they would probably do no worse than a 2 or 3 seed. I could see UM with a 4 or 5 seed.

I am proud of what U of M did this year. I was expecting good things...but not being towards the top of the Big 10!

Don't try to explain it to him. Any accomplishment by Michigan is indicative that the Big10 is having a bad year. It doesn't make sense to anyone but him. and the Big10 is stacked this year.

Has nothing to do with Michigan. Look at the schedule. Outside of MSU, UM, OSU, Indiana and Wisconsin, what games concern you? I'm not saying there may not be 8 or 9 teams in 'the dance', but teams like Illinois or Purdue with be 7-11 seeds and early road kill. Purdue just dismissed their leading scorer. Again, who SCARES you? You look at it as every team being good, and they just aren't.

And for the record, all of SouthEast Michigan's losses were to good teams with the exception of Iowa. MSU had no business losing to Northwestern or Illinois. Win, lose or draw, I'm actually looking forward to the B1G tourney to bitch slap the whiney asses at S.E.MI and Ohio State.

$25 says MSU doesnt win the big 10 tourney?

Lol Swift reminds me of the aggie fans so much its funny.

Nope, I have realistic expectations. And I'm not blaming SouthEast Michigan's success on a down league. They've taken care of business. But the Top 5 teams have fed off the bottom 7. There have been years where there were 7 or 8 really good teams. Just not this year.

By the way, does A & M have a history of winning in anything? MSU has been the best team in the conference over the last 15 years. I hope you enjoy the NIT.
