You are a few cards short of a full deck. You funny looking. You have a weird odor about you? What else do you want to know?
I didn't remember asking you sir lol

lol Mike, basically they didn't machine the heads right for the springs. And at least one of the springs was not sitting completely flush. So it was sitting at a little bit of an angle and now the valve guides are probably hoobed to all hell. It all starts with the heads/springs, but basically the whole valvetrain is wrong. The pushrods aren't the right length, the rockers are hitting, it's just a mess. :(

lol Yeah it is :bs: Thanks for the offer. I might take you up on that, but I'm not sure when I'm going to start looking into it. Like I said, I don't really want to do anything with it right now. :(

Its like piling meat this hobby, you can keep piling, it just might give you heartburn  A long stretch there  Hope everything works man, my 84 Silverado is fucking me daily :(

Yep, thats the place.:pow:

Fucking hell! They did a crap job machining my block way back on my first re-build. Never knew it til I tore it down the second time and the guy at Best showed me that the deck was uneven. Enough that it was noticeable by laying a straightedge on it. :pow:

Brian, good to hear you figured it out. It sucks but at least you know now. I cant believe they did that..those guys are suppose to be good.

Hey Stalker and myself are still up and running for the most part. My rearend is finally starting to make some noise.

exactly. my car doesn't make enough power to break to begin with. Though the sale of it a very high possibility in the next couple months. Waiting on a military guy from Texas to find out if he's deploying or whatever. that will determine when he will buy it.

oh, and it's good that you got your pile figured out. Now just need fix it and see how many rear ends you can break in one summer. Think Johnny was up to what? 3? 4?

Brian - sorry to hear that, but atleast you know more now. Did you every get a hold of Joe? PM him if you haven't....

LS1 swap....You and Johnny share wheels and a trailer....why not motors? Someone on here was selling a LT4 motor and someone else I thought have LT1 heads....Eric might have bought them though. I think he was from SH too.

You have to get this thing back up fast! This is downright sexy.
