Thanks to SEAN @ C.A.R.S

I wanted to say thanks to Sean for helping me out with my car. Those who know me know that I have been having problems, well basically the same problem with my car for the last 3 or 4 years, ever since the motor has been back in the car. I have taken it to multiple shops and it's been on the dyno many times, only to be told by everyone that they "think" it's this causing it and to try this and that to fix it. I spent a ton of money with shops/people that I had hoped would help me fix the car and not just throw parts at it. I took it to Sean and he actually took the time to look at everything and try to diagnose the car. He spent time on it, didn't throw parts at it, kept in contact with me, and charged me a great price.

I wish I could post and say the car is fixed but it's not. What Sean ended up finding was some major valve train issues and the fact that the heads had been improperly machined. Now the car is going to sit for awhile until I figure out what I am going to do with it. :( I have some decisions to make and at some point I have to start taking it apart to see just how bad the heads are and what else has been damaged. I am very frustrated at this point, it's really hard when you spend so much time and money on something and try to have faith in people knowing what they are doing to help you out. So another Pervage car is down. :( Hopefully the car will be out next year better than ever.

Again, I want to thank Sean, Rob (who works with him), and Greg (GPowrie on here) for their help. I would recommend Sean to anybody for work on their car. Thanks again guys.

Brian

Yeah, Sean seems to really know his stuff. I am working with him right now with my problem. Very good/smart guy.

Sorry about the bad news but at least you have a lead to go on now...

Good luck man!

Thanks a lot man. It's really frustrating, but at the same time, I'm glad he was able to find what was going on.

F to D&S Engines :pow:

Yeah, no kidding. I guess that's what I get for trusting a machine shop to actually do things right and properly machine and assemble a cylinder head. :dontknow:

:( Sad news Brian. Just think though you have all fall and winter to save up and work on it. Always look on the bright side.
