Thanks Champion wheels

I just got my wheels back today from getting a double beadlock done by Champion. AWESOME customer service and a great product for a fair price. I ordered the "poverty" entry level C1 beadlocks, but the color matches my car damn near perfect LOL! Maybe I'll get them mounted up later tonight.

Wow those look sick. I was very happy with my purchase from Champion a couple years ago, they had great customer support.

What is the "poverty level" mean as far as the bead lock? How much did this cost if you don't mind me asking? If you prefer to PM that's fine.

The least expensive double beadlock is also the heaviest at 5.4 lbs per side. It costs $377.90 per wheel, plus an extra $12 I think for the colored anodized beadlock ring. The inside rings are polished, so they can be switched to change the look.

Here's Champion's web page for beadlock conversions with prices and weights. http://www.cwibeadlock.com/dragraceconversions.htm

Ouch lol. Thanks for the reply. I have to see how my car/tires act with all the dramatic changes that were made this winter first before doing this. Looks good though!

lookin good joe! no ols for this season?

No more OLS for me, I heard you were gonna run it and got scared!:shudder:

I've been wanting to try some radials for awhile now, and my car is a MUCH better fit (weight and power wise) for X275. I also like the "standard" John Sears rules which allow me to run all over this side of the country if I chose. I took a trip to Georgia last September with J.R. for the radial race, and I gotta' admit I got hooked on the action. I'm still way outgunned with the way the class is headed, but it will be a great learning experience if nothing else. :bigthumb:

Thanks for the compliments!
