the stage 1 in my car is perfect for the street. If i didnt drive my car 99% on the street i would have gone with the stage 2.

My combo 306 Stock bottom end Gt 40 P heads and a dual plane intake nothing special but with the added lift and duration hoping for something great.

the stage 1 would be just fine. id use a performer rpm intake and a 650 dp holley and it should be pretty snappy. are the heads ported at all?

Great, thanks guys. I saw your combo NOSBIGSHOT in the garage sale adds and I am really amazed at your times. This engine will be going into my 1985 mustang convertable with a T5 and 4.10 gears. Should be fun.

i used a stage 1 cam back when i had only stock 302 with some trickflow heads out of the box and with a track heat intake that cam works real nice

would a Stage 1 or Stage 2 have any problems on a bone stock short block with Twisted Wedge heads? piston to valve?
