Not really looking to do this immediately i just wanna see what's out there...
WTT my mostly built 8.8 for your cobra's complete IRS assembly.
my axle has everything done to it except a new diff and 9" bearings. has a rebuilt traction-loc that works great, solid pinion sleeve, 3.73 gears, disk brake conversion with integrated parking brakes, new lines, TA performance diff cover. also would include 4banger stock springs, HPM mega-bite jr lower arms, and southside uppers. been painted with POR-15, a little bit got scraped off the bottom. currently has 5lug ranger axle shafts, would include a pair of sn-95 mustang shafts, have a set of 3" wheel studs in the former. only thing wrong with it is the shocks are shot.
i'd like to get a complete IRS assembly including brakes to swap into my fox body, preferably completely stock or maybe with a gear in it.
the only thing that needs to be swapped to make this conversion is the driveshaft flanges, shocks, and minor modifications to the rear brake line.
this would be a perfect setup for somebody who just drag races, all it really needs is a set of good axle shafts and it'll run 9s all day long. i'm more into street performance/handling and open tracking.
i'm just looking to see if somebody might be interested in this trade, tips are appreciated!
