Man I need a transbrake or a nice shot of sauce!! Damn NOS converter is killing me off the line. I can only get it to footbrake to 2800rpm or so. I wonder what a transbrake and a 150-200 shot will do for me off the line...:headscrat. Oh well, i'm the one that wanted a pump gas street cruiser I guess. Had fun though.

Not bad, throw some nitrous at it and see how it works!

Eventually I plan on doing that or throwing some more cam and compression at it. I don't like the idea of running race gas all the time or refilling bottles but I know its gonna end up being one or the other. I am curious though to see what this lil' motor can do N/A with around 13:1 and a solid roller.....then add NOS. Actually if I did that my block would probably not like me very much LOL! Honestly, i'll probably just keep it like it is but just swap the cam for a slightly bigger one and get a transbrake + Nitrous. It should run ok with those mods.

No such thing as too tight of a converter, just not enough nitrous.. :D I had a 2800-3000 converter and it was fun spraying it against the t-brake. It would flash up to 4000'ish and worked ok. Much better now though with 4500 N/A and 5500 on hose.

I dig the black rims and it has a good stance. Long live pump gas combos with big spray. :)

302s need a transbreak. not enough torque to make the car work. some cars dont pick up with a transbrake but every 302 car ive seen has.

Why do you always beat yourself up over how the car runs?

I'm just messin' around man. It runs good for what it is. You know how the speed bug is. I'm probably gonna take the whole drivetrain out this winter and start taking it apart and inspecting everything. I'm gonna freshen everything and maybe do just a few little mods to it, nothing to big. I can't afford to do much these days.

I plan on getting one eventually. I wish I knew how much it will pick up cuz i'd hate to spend the money on a brake only to have it pick up a 10th. I'm sure it will pick up more than that though.
