telegraph & 12

PSJ, you are in the same boat as I. I never heard of a coney until I moved out here from NY. It's a chili dog with raw onion. You can also refer to it as 'death'.

And you cannot swing a dead cat by the tail and not hit a coney restaurant in Michigan. I think they outnumber the people in the state...

Thanks on the names of the Coney places, I'll check them out.

We were staying in Dearborn. We ate at La Shish (?) for dinner.

PSJ,
I thought you were staying in Southfield (at 12 @ Telegraph)? If you're in Dearborn, next time you can meet us at Miller's for some burgers.

John's Coney

Get yourself a coney and flaming cheese then go look at all the racecars in the parking lot.

:dontknow: I haven't been by there in 3-4 weeks myself so I have no idea. Hey at least Whiteys is down the street.

Scoot, we stayed on a side street that was 2 blocks down from Telegraph... There is a Einstein's bagel on Tele across from a Comerica Bank I think. I think we just barely passed that older looking McD's.

Food was good at La Shish but I did hear that the owner might be unsavory.
