Team Z k member issue

So I got my k member installed. Great fitment. Sits in there perfect. Put my steering rack in, and the steering shaft is to short.

Did I do something wrong?

Pull on the shaft. It's meant to slide back and forth.

That part of the shaft sticking out of the firewall

x2 on this. I had to push mine in, when installing my Team Z K member with a flaming river rack/shaft. With mine it was kind of a pain in the ass, I had to put a block of wood on in and tap it in. OP if you cant get yours to move, try putting a large screwdriver through the hole and tapping in out

Im having issues with the headers hitting the steering shaft. But im running sbc in my fox, i have an idea to fix it but still kinda lost

What everyone else said. Just going to a manual steering shaft I had to pull mine out
