TEAM Z FOX COUPE BUILD-UP

Another update:

Ordered a Joe Van Overbeek 6'' cowl (pin on to windshield), LX nose, and pin on deck lid. I really wanted a bolt on trunk lid but I guess it was not in the cards.....

Stuff should be here within 3-4 weeks (hopefully)!

Sounds nice Keith!

Update: Just hung up with Gil @ Speedwire....what great customer service! He called me tonight after hours to discuss the rest of my set up...spoke to him for an hour!!!

My switch panel and relay board is good to go and he is just getting all the connectors, switches and wiring in order and then will ship.

He has done everything so far without any deposit! I can't wait to get the stuff and would encourage anyone that is interested to give him a call.

UPDATE:

Picked up some miscellaneous stuff from SKRCs.

Thanks for your help on the YB.

Yeah, I looked at the Schoneck and it was too racy (is that a word?) for me. I really like the factory cover so it was pretty easy for me. Did you get the short or the long version?

I have the short design Schoneck LX bumper.

Yep...I was thinking of that one....but I really like the factory piece. You got carbon too, correct?

I am cheap so I got glass. The nose weighs 13 pounds....you weigh yours?

I ordered the front bumper and the 5" cowl hood extended to the windshield both in fiberglass(I'm somewhat thrifty myself). You had me thinking, I never did weigh them so I just went out in the garage to check. The bumper has the front fender extensions moulded into the design, and weighs 13.4lbs. The hood is 13.1, but I may end up trimming off the extended cowl at the rear edge of the hood. With the cowl scoop at the windshield it blocked too much view for my liking.

Interesting....mine does not have the fender extensions.

I also ordered a 6 inch hood to windshield from SKRCs, Joe Van O makes it. Also a pin on deck lid from him too. Should arrive this week.

I worried about the view too, but the one I got starts to taper back down at the windshield....that is why I got it!

BTW, I weighed the stock nose with the lights in it and it was 27.

UPDATE:

Recieved everything from Speedwires today. Gil is top notch and I would recommend anyone in need of a set up to contact him.
