TEAM Z FOX COUPE BUILD-UP

Looks good! Are you happy with the quality of the exhaust, and would you recommend the shop that did the work? How was the customer service and turn around time? I had those mufflers on my red coupe, and they were WAY to loud for street driving but sound great(but then, I had them right off the collectors with turndowns).

Thanks. Yea, it turned out OK. Customer servce was AWESOME! Dropped it off on a Saturday afternoon and was completed one week later, I'd say GREAT. Now ya tell me on the mufflers.....LOL, :punchball

Looks awesome Keith!

Looks to have plenty of clearance (tucked nicely up to the underbody).

Yes, it is pretty good.

Thanks Tony. Tim Murphy built them. His site is www.fabshopheaders.com the collectors are merge collectors that he builds too. I had v band flanges welded on to make it easier for me to take the exhaust off.

Did you race at brandenten? I looked in the HS bracket but didn't see you???

Let me know the next time you will go to the track and I will meet you out there.

any new pics keith?

Hey Jim,

Nothing really new to report. All the interior pieces are accounted for. I am going to drop off the exhaust at Reiters to have the dumps welded on. I did not know what angle I wanted so the guy that built them did not weld them on....yep still anal. Also, I needed to make sure the exhaust was under 6 foot to fit in the tumbler!!!

I am in town this week so I hope to get that done AND drop all the stuff off for coating. If not, my wife will drop it off next week.

Going to try to head over to SKRCs to pick up a hood, nose and deck lid this week too.

Hopefully, Todd will also finish the chassis work that was not completed. Seats/re-do battery disconnect (battery would not fit where it was)/re-do the eye brow bar (too low)/re-do the seat belt tabs (not centered on the seats)/ Add a bar for the parachute handle.

After this stuff I will take to the body shop. This new job just does not allow me much time to do stuff and when I am home for the weekend there is just a ton of other stuff more important than this car.....

Laughing...well good news!

Ordered a Speedwire System yesterday!!!! I will tell you that Gil is top notch (no pun intended) and is very into the details. He worked very diligently with me to get accomplished everything I wanted. Everything is "custom" to your application and is not a cookie cutter "kit" that you buy off the shelf. He even takes phone calls on the weekends to help his customers with issues while they are at the track!!!

Overall, I believe it to be a great value for the $. Check out his site: http://gallo-teck.ca/speedwire/

I will post pics when I recieve it, but he has many on his site.

Another update:

Ordered a Joe Van Overbeek 6'' cowl (pin on to windshield), LX nose, and pin on deck lid. I really wanted a bolt on trunk lid but I guess it was not in the cards.....

Stuff should be here within 3-4 weeks (hopefully)!
