TEAM Z FOX COUPE BUILD-UP

Broom on a customers car how nice!!

YEP just before we fired up the plasma and cut off wheel and cut the shit out of the car! oh yea we wouldn't want to screw up the original 90's paint job!

If you have nothing better to do than to criticize something that stupid you have some serious issues. Funny you dont see me or my customers/friends talking Shit about other shops. Have you picked up a magazine in the last year and seen some of the 50K plus cars we've built with brooms laying against them???

The owner had no problem with it, he posted the picture, and Keith Is one of the most meticulous people I've met "not a bad thing"! The car was mine at one time and the paint was very faded and peeling original paint job!

+1 Dave!

No need to say anything else! (by the way, it is a 80s paint job!:woot:)

PS. I got some scrap wheels to see how they look, what do you think? 15X10 with a 5" backspace. Thinking of going to a 6"????

Car looks awesome, top notch work on this thing. I think if you used more backspace you could probably get it a little lower if you wanted to.

I was thinking the same....I have another set of wheels with more. I will get the other slick mounted on the other wheel tomorrow and put it on the other side and see what it looks like.

Sitting too high now but once I get everything in order Dave will set it up properly and then next year we will go and do some testing!!!!!!:nayner:

wow you get worked up easy.

wow you get worked up easy.

Not to speak for Dave, but I don't think he is worked up.

I know you work for KTS and if someone had something to say about you or your boss regarding their craftsmenship or business practices I would hope that you would not accept that as OK either.

The car itself is a piece of shit, as seen from the pics, as you know it takes time and a lot of money to get it right. First step is done, the chassis work. Next year it should be a pretty nice cruiser.

If you have anything to add regarding Dave or his practice, I would ask you respectfully to give him a call or send him a PM.

By the way, your car looks great as I have already commented in your thread. Also, Tony's black coupe is an awesome piece as well!

+1 to you for a sweet ride!

not to go off track in this thread but i don't blame dave for getting fired up! he does this for a living and someone goes and says something as dumb as that in a public forum! not to mention dave is a paying sponsor for this site that we all enjoy!

I agree with you.

Again, I posted this because I myself love build ups. People can see things... gain knowledge and learn. Dave didn't give any deal to do it or ask me to.

Look at the NMRA on how many cars he has running in it....it is not by accident. In addition, he will campaign a car that a guy has on here in Street Race in the NMCA next year.

Also, he is building the suspension for the Cobra Jet Factory Race Cars. see link here. http://www.teamzmotorsports.net/latest_news.html

honestly my favorite color on a notch is white or sonic blue!

but black or silver would look bad ass! either way your car is going to be sick!

I don't know what Sonic Blue is...

Also, I need to learn how to do multiple quotes so I don't have to reply to each one separate! One day I'll learn how to use this thing!

not a notch but i took this picture at the last milan grudge race! this stang was sick!
