I seen that trailor. I've played CS 1.6 and CSS also played BF2. What exatly is this game? Is it a game like BF2 crossed between a CSS? You can pick a certain class of player and then attack an actual fortress? anyone?

TF2 is a 'mod' made by valve. If you own HL2 or CSS, you can purchase HL2 episode 2 (when it comes out), it will also include, this game (TF2) and another game called Portal (which looks awesome) all for like $15

TF2 has been talked about for years...
They always say it was going to be made blah blah blah released blah blah blah but it never materialized.

I remember the rumors in the PC gaming mags about TF2 being a massive multi player online game involving loads of stuff like in Battlefield 2.

Are they going to load it on valve like they do all their new releases? I've played CS for 9 years now I think and got into TFC short after that. I haven't played it in forever because I only have CSS on this computer, but I can't wait for this. I always liked being Sniper.lethalss said:

After watching it I have a few comments.
1. The Engineer could've/should've just thrown an EMP and owned every one of the guys coming into the room he was building the sentry gun in.
2. The remake of the map 2_Fort looks absolutly awesome (it's the one the Heavy guy is on)
3. The Sniper has sideburns which already makes him cooler than the rest. And the way the guys fall from headshots is pretty sweet.
4. Scout having a baseball bat is awesome.
They show all the old tricks with the Soldiers, haha. They show you the rocket jumps and they show the one guy getting launched from his side to the other (and the only way to do it is jump and have your sniper peg you from point blank)

As the new games come out they inform you with a pop-up type thing (it's not annoying or out of control and only comes up after playing the game) So you actually just buy that one game from the store, and the rest you can pre-order at your computer and once it's available their program downloads it and installs it for you. So like TFC when it comes out, you can pay ahead of time for it and once it's available you just sit there and click buttons to download/install it. Theres a TON more mods than just CounterStrike and Team Fortress though.
