Tama swingstar drum kit...

Have had this on craigslist for a looooong time now. Thought I might post it up here as well..

It's a red pearl tama swingstar, MADE IN JAPAN. Not a cheap plastic chinese or taiwan remake. Great sound, great condition. This kit really has no scratches or nicks in it. It's a pretty kit.

It's a 5 piece kit. Ludwig snare, 2 toms, floor tom and bass drum. Also comes with hi hat stand and some cheap hi hat symbols, a crash stand and a very cheap crash symbol.

Brand new double bass pedal also included.

Price is 400 obo. good starter kit.

Whoever buys this kit is going to get a pretty damn good deal. I don't think they even make the swingstar in japan anymore. I'm still enjoying the fruits of living at home. Unfortunately, my dad was disabled in an accident at work and has been home since, and he NEVER LEAVES THE HOUSE, and I'm working all day anyway, so... I haven't played them in probably a year, easily. He doesn't like the noise, and I'm under his roof so there they sit. When I move out I'll get another kit, and it probably won't be a Tama. I have my eyes on a Yamaha kit.

Anyhoo, I thought it would go quicker on craigslist. I had a guy who thought he'd come out and look at it, wave money in my face and I'd take it. He offered me 200 for it, and I told him to walk. The double bass pedal (it's one of the cheapest ones) was over $100 alone.

Nobody here ready for a hobby in jammin'?

yeah man, i don't get what people are thinking coming out to see something that is exactly what it looks like in pictures and then offering 50% of the ask price.

I would feel like an idiot to do something like that. he was a straight haggler. I told him I'd keep it before I let it go for that cheap. He just left with his ugly gf.
