takein a lill pole

I would venture to guess it will weigh somewhere around 2800-3000lbs with everything you've mentioned. I had a 86' with a 460 in it and it was probably around 3000 or so. I would say shoot for 10.50's . Your gearing and convertor, as well as many other variables, are what you're going to need to focus on. Good luck. I always like to see rangers done up like that.

I'm guessing that it currently doesn't run under it's own power. With that being the case, I think the little girl with the soap box derby car will kick your ass...:D

yea it runs under its own power i had it out a year ago at tell im sure one of u has see it the only prob with is the last time that i had it out i finaly got on it hard to see what is was like and once i went in to 3rd all the freeeze plugs in the motor blow out and that was not fun at all .well after i wiped my ass a few times i put it for a while and now im fixxin that and paintin it..

I used to have a smallblock powerd 85 ranger. got rid of it back in 93 NEVER sell your highschool ride!!!!!

This has to be one of the funniest thread titles ever. Just goes to show how a little spelling mistake can get you in trouble in a hurry around here.

You got some pics of the truck??? Hard to guess without knowing a little more. Good luck with your project, and the pole:wow:

man it is all good i get it is was just making a little fun of my truck im get that kind of stuff all the time . i kno can spell all that great but ive man fun of a lot for this truck that is all . ive been told that it looks like a nascar truck series truck . and that it is slow my one friend told me that his slow t-bird sc will beat and i know that is not goin to happen...

i remember the guys at Larrys auto parts in garden city built one like it a few years ago and the couldnt get the damn thing to hook up
it would spin 10 inch slicks through the 60' lights
but it was sure fun to watch it doing it!

truck looks like it has good potential....everyone just likes makin fun of people over the keyboard, just cause you cant spell good +1 on the truck

Looks pretty good to me.Problem is TRACTION! If you can get it to bite, you might run the numbers everyone is saying, but im gonna say low 11s high 10s cause its hard to make those trucks hook(that Ive seen) Especially if you use those junk Mickey Sportsmans.Put some real shoes on it and SPRAy the hell out it!:gr_grin:good luck.Hope to see ya at Milan!
