Tail light help.

So, the parking light will not light up my led on the drivers side of my truck. Its run threw a resistor just like it was when it worked. I cant get it to work again. If I hook it up the passenger side light gets brighter, and I get nothing from the drivers. I even spliced into the passanger side harness and got the same results. The only way I get the light to work is if I leave out the resistor. But, then its to bright and there is no differnce between the parking light and the brake light. How should I fix this? Also, I have 2 led strips. One on each side. So, they act as praking, and brake/turn.

Add more fluid?:dontknow:

Seriously-- I thought that LED's were polar? Maybe wires (+,-) mixed up? Or maybe that resistor is bad. Try another, they're ususally cheap. How many ohms is it?
