Tail light change or not?

Ok. I'm board. Should I change my tail lights back to the 1986 units, or leave it alone? I toyed with the idea of going to the cheese grater 87+ lenses with them left unpainted. The car has some wild paint with pearls and blue matalic over the whole car. ( Carl's Customs)

I kinds like the what you have on there but the 86 ones would look pretty good too.

I think the 87+ tails look cleaner and work better with the blue...

Left side. Adding the amber looks too busy and doesn't go with the paint colors on your car IMO.
