svt contour engine

anyone ever change the engine in a svt contour or any of the p.o.s. 2.5 v6 cars for that matter? iv been doin a little research before i tackle this nightmere and some say it comes out the top some say it comes out the bottom. not sure which will be more of a pain. opinions?

I've always seen them come out the top when experienced guys were swapping in the 3 liter engines.

yea check out contour.org , alot of good info , IMOP unless you already have an extra svt contour engine laying around id grab a 3liter dohc taurus motor and throw it in there , there way easier to come by that the contour motors

i just picked up the svt on the cheap with a rod hanging out the side of the block. i have a running driving 96 mystique im gonna pop the motor out of and drop in im thinking. gonna try and do it as cheap as possible.
